I’m back from vacation, so here is a photo similar to where I was. Mamaia Beach (Plaja Mamaia) is a resort town on the Black Sea coast. What’s really weird about it is…”Mamaia is 8 km (5 miles) in length and only 300 m (328 yards) in width, being a strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol.” (wikipedia)
The Romanian Athenaeum (Ateneul Român) is neoclassical concert hall in Bucharest and home of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra. It’s across the street from the former palace and the Hotel Athenee Palace Hilton and a few blocks from Revolution Square.
In Bucharest on the corner of Dem Dobrescu Street (Strada Dem I. Dobrescu) near Revolution Square (Piaţa Revoluţiei) is the headquarters of the Romanian Architects Union(sediul Uniunii Arhitectilor din Romania (UAR)) built inside the ruined building of the secret police (Direcţia V Securitate), which used to be the embassy of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Photo and back-story of the original building (English).
